So I noticed that in the haynes it says that we use atf fluid as power steering fluid...i cant find the type that it lists anywhere. Any ideas? or can we just use power steering fluid

i use tranny fluid in ps and it works fine.
>98 eclipse RS

stage 2 cams + basic bolt ons = still slow as shit

for the transmission, its ATF+3 syntech. Advance has it for a decent price.

Trust me on this one I've called all over about the fluids, when I bought her.

You can use just PS fluid without problems, just most people use tranny fluid because it's thicker than PS fluid.

I've never used ATF in my PS system, and I trust what comes out of a haynes manual about as far as I can drop a turd.
