#100566, "engine acting up"

ok... i have a 98 RS and it has basic bolt ons and crower stage 2 cams. the engine runs fine until it warms up. after it warms up and youve driven it a little ways, it starts to hesitate and sputter. then it throws a code, and when you put the clutch in and let off the gas it doesnt idle down it either stays at the same or idles up some. could this be a fuel problem? i have an s-afc 2 and the fuel map shows lean through mid range and a little richer near the top end. is this an ignition problem, fuel problem, or timing? i am 2 deg. advanced on intake and 0 on exhaust.

s-afc was fine. didnt change anything so i put it back on the settings i had it on. someone told me that the ecu is trying to fight the cams... oh and the code was a "engine coolant temp. high output" but the engine is running a normal temp. bad sensor?
