Alot of people praise them, but remember they are only for 97 MTX's.

Drop AF/X ECU in the search bar and see what you get...

Quoted for emphasis.

MTX = manual transmission.

For the 97, I have very high praise for the AF/X ECU. It is basically the only effective "BOLT ON" tuning tool for our cars. While the MSnS (not to forget the AMS standalone, also) has much more capabilities and applications (you can use that on any year) it is not just plug and play.

The S-AFC will only be able to pull fuel out (which is actually good for our cars because they run rich from the factory), that will net you very little extra hp.

You can, Megasquirt is better. And don't ask what that is, search for it, there is tons of info on here about it.

The reason he says it's better is because the timing is advanced with the AF/X computer. Too much timing on a turbo setup can result in detonation. With the megasquirt, you have full control of your timing.
