I don't know.. But if I were to do the jeep tb I would check the junkyards first. I'm sure it will cost a lot more $$$ from a dealer rather than a junkyard..

I got my Jeep TB on ebay.

Theres a normal one for sale on there right now - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2420837408&category=46093

There's also a monster 62mm jobber that could be made to fit as well - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2420844477&category=33558

Check my sig for the conversion writeup

"Buyer can choose between old style (91-95) or newer style"
What is the difference? Can only one fit or will they both fit? Which one would be less hassle free during installation? LoL and one more question, would an AEM CAI fit the jeep tb exactly like it does the stock tb

The only major difference that I've seen between the various kinds that'll work for us(91-99) is a vacuum fitting at the base of the TB.

Some of them have an air nipple - like this one:

And some of them don't - like this one:

I don't think it matters which one you get. That side ends up on the bottom in our engine bay - a very inaccessable place. If you get the one with the vacuum fitting I suppose you could use it for a vacuum source if you wanted - but you can also just plug the fitting if you didn't want to use it for anything. So either way, both styles of TB will work equally well.

As far as the intake coupler fitting...I have a short ram intake with one of those silicone couplers to fit to the TB. It is a tight fit for the Jeeper, but it works just fine.

Yeah, my AEM CAI fits fine on m Jeep TB. Get the Jeep TB IMO, sooo much cheaper then the MP one. not as pretty, but same performance.

Hey metaljim could you just start converting the jeep t.b. for us so you can make us all happy and you some cas I don't mind getting my hands dirty, I just have to drive my car every day and am afraid of running into trouble in the Frankenstien process. I keep telling this lady at work I'm going to steel her T.B. off her jeep.

HAHA - yeah I work with this guy and I pulled the same thing with him. I'd be like "I'm gonna take your throttle body" and he'd say something like "You better leave my throttle body alone!"

Seriously though, I've been thinking about it. There's a couple of issues that I need to resolve before I decide on actually doing it for the masses. It's a shame the NC crew stopped makin them. Lately I've been more and more compelled to make these for you guys and I hope that I can make somthing happen. Keep an eye out - I may be offering something soon.
