So, My alternator light came on,i test to see if the alternator was charging with a volt meter it wasnt charging just around 10v or so... i replaced to with the new alternator started the car and boom... light still on, took my voltmeter out... sure enough still charging 10vs at the battery, tested all my cable from battery etc.... i test the alternator with the car running with the voltmeter it was only charging 10vs as well... so i kinda have came to the conclusin that the voltage regulator on the ecu is bad, was wanting to know if this would work...

That will work. Wire it in exactly how they show in the Megasquirt sticky thread: http://forums.2gnt.com/dcboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=54&topic_id=2549&mode=full

Have you checked the 10Ga wiring from the alternator to the fuse box? Have you checked the fuses inthe fuse box? Have you checked the wiring fromt he ECU to the alternator

or are you just flip flopping alternators and wasting time?

No, I have tested all the wires with a voltmeter,i have ohm'd them checked to see if the wiring is good from alternator to fuse box, from fuse box to battery etc.. All the wires are good. Im getting nothing but battery voltage with the car running.
