#123430, "radiator leak"

it looks like my radiator has a small leak in the top tank. it's a slow leak so i've just been topping off the coolant and been mostly ok. is there any way to fix this or is it best to replace the whole radiator? it's a 95 with 160k or so miles so everything's pretty old already :p

The cost/effort of fixing one spot on a radiator with 160k and then waiting for the next spot to go (not to mention the interior coils that are blocked up over the years) is far outweighed by just buying a new one.

Check radiatorbarn. I'm sure others will chime in with some other vendors.

If you look in the Group Buy section, maperformance is selling an aluminum one with SPAL fan for 179.99. From the reviews in there, seems like an ok one.

+1 on Radiatorbarn though

kk thanks.

i'll hafta check local prices. shipping to hawaii usually negates the savings on big items like a radiator if i buy online...

unless they're one of the nice retailers that will use ground shipping to hawaii. sucks that most refuse to though.
