Rather than editing this to have it deleted, I need to use this post to give a major shout out to my bro FarOutKucki. The problem I have is that my direct deposit might not go through this week (first paycheck on the new job - you know how that can be). If it doesn't go through, I'll end up getting to Chicago without a dime to name for either food or shelter the whole of the weekend since a paper check will be sitting in the mailbox at the house sometime Friday or Saturday afternoon. Out of the blue, Joe calls me to see if I could drop him at the airport sometime in September on my way in to work at 5am. I mentioned my predicament, and he offered to cut me a check to hold onto just in case to cover my ass. It's things like this that make 2GNTers the best people to associate with, even if they never owned a 2G and now roll lifted Jeeps.

So major props to Joe for covering this die hard's ass and pretty much ensuring I make it to the Shootout this year.
