The SO is by far the closest thing a DSM'er can get to pure bliss.

For three to five days, there is nothing else in the world that matters. There are hundreds upon hundreds of DSMs there and all their owners stand by their sides, beers in hand, talking to complete strangers as if they have known each other since childhood. The sound of External Wastegates saturates the night air, and the smell of unburnt gas wafts through the breezy nighttime making you realize just how great it to be around hundreds of people who share the same passion and obsession that you do. The ricer boys in Norwalk get too scared to even drive by the hotels on the main strip because they know they stand no chance against the 10 second track monster over there, or the 11 second daily driver three spots down from it or even the thirty-five 13 second or better DSM's all lined up in a pretty little row right outside your hotel room window. Front mounts peek at you from behind virtually every front bumper catching the lamp light and glinting back at you like the night sky trapped between a license plate and the ground.

And that's just the first night.

It's running again shitheads.

Will the MI crew be meeting the Chicagoland crew? Because the CA, AZ, TX, KS, MO, and maybe IN crews will be rolling from Chicago imo. I'm bringing a tow chain just in case. If I have to spend too much time hard on the gas trying to keep up with Josh and Josiah, then that 2.4L will have plenty of torque to tow my baby and I back to AZ when we run out of gas somewhere between KC and OKC. LOL

Everyone pray or whatever that my parents can sell their house in KS within a couple weeks. That would assure me of making the trip. Hell or high water fellas. Hell or high water...
