I have no clue what this noise is... all I can say is that it is chatter.

I think this has something to do with my 1st gear because the chatter stops when for instance if I am in second, I keep the clutch down shift into 1st really hard then slam it out of 1st and it will go away.

The noise is at the very beginning of the clip and the end when I take off.

Ive ruled out the TOB because Ive actually had a noise happen because of it and the using the clutch solved that Issue

IMO It sounds like a synchro going out. A local had a similar noise, but the same type of issue with 1st gear. From what I remember, he babied it a decent amount of time, but eventually 1st went out completely, rebuilt tranny, etc..

I would talk to a trans shop, see what they think, just because of the diagnosis of the issue thus far, they may be able to confirm/deny any thoughts.

That's a tough one to figure out man. Is it doing anything else out of the ordinary when you're driving it?
