I own a 99 eclipse gs and sometimes in the high rpms it grinds
when i shift. I installed a new clutch, it is broken in, and
still does it.im thinking it might be the sync but i want to
be sure first.

make sure it's not something dumb like a little air in the
lines, you wanna make sure you're fully disengaging.

You could try new fluid first. 2 Quarts of the dealer lube, I shift at 7K and I dont even have to force it into the next gear. It slides right in.
