I was wondering how to take out the whole clutch items, with the fly wheel. And just leave it in the transcase. Im pulling my motor and dont want to take out the transmission. Because I want to put the clutch that I have now, and put it onto the engine that im going to drop in my car. Any help and pics will Help me out alot. Thanks In advance guys

The stock clutch is a modular setup, meaning that the flywheel and pressure plate and riveted together to make one unit. This unit bolt to a flex plate and the flex plate is bolted to the crank. When you go to pull your motor just slide the tranny input shaft away from the block and then pull the motor out and everything will still be bolted together.

If you take the cover off the bottom of your trans you will be able to see the back of the flex plate, there are four bolts on it and you will have to turn the crank pulley with a breaker bar to get to each one. After you get all four out your clutch will stay in the bellhousing of the tranny and give you A little more room to pull the motor out. Personally i prefer to pull the trans and motor at once but thats just me. good luck!
