#7107, "need help: is this tranny from a neon or DSM"
i found a good deal for a brand new nv-t350 straight outta new venture, but unfortunately the seller either doesnt know or hasnt specified whether its for a neon or a dsm. I'd rather have one for a dsm becuase my car is slow enough in 5th gear as it is, but it really doesn't matter because i wouldnt mind the gas mileage from the 3.55 either. Anyways, the tag on the back of the tranny says:
NEW VENTURE NV T-350 4670890 N 890 2359 0008
Here's is the link, if anyone can tell from the pictures of the tranny and bellhousing, id really appreciate the help. Also if its a 3.55, can you tell whether the bellhousing is for a modular clutch or not.

It's most likely a Neon trans if it's brand new, but it's a hydro clutch NV-T350, so it'll work in a 2GNT just the same.
I can't determine the gear ratios from the tag numbers, unfortunately. The majority of them are 3.94, same as us.
