Okay so my tranny crapped out on my yesterday on my eclipse gs.
I have been reading up on using a neon tranny for the taller and better gear ratios especially since i am going to be going turbo.
i know i can use a 95-99 or whatever SOHC one and split the housing and use my bellhousing, BUT my bellhousing is cracked all over. So.... im wanting to use a neon tranny that already has a hydrolic clutch. So i can use ANY Manual Tranny from the 01+ models or what?

Will this work or does it need to be older than that?
Also do i want the
M.T. ACR, the M.T. R/T, or the M.T. exc. R/T and ACR????
are they all the same??? And what years?
