it will bolt to the engine side
but it is 100% not compatible with your transmission

what's not compatible is related to the fact that the srt-4 is using a complety different transmission !

SRT-4 Engine Code: A853
2GNT Engine Code: 420A

How are these the same engine codes?

Plus, SRT-4 is a 2.4L
2GNTs are 2.0L (Unless you do the 2.4L block, then I suppose you would be the same/closer to an SRT-4)

However, the 2.4L PT Modular set up works with our cars. Go figure.

the 2.4 and the 2.0 are using the same bolt pattern on the transmission and the crankshaft
the pt cruiser mtx also used a nvt-350 just like us and the neons
the pt cruiser mtx clutch is also sold under the mopar performance label

however the srt-4 is using a bigger and newer nvt-850 and the pt cruiser turbo is using a getrag !

Why I didn't move this in the first place is beyond me. Oh yeah, I'm a moron emoji

Ok, truth of the matter is (for future searchers) the SRT clutch has been used on our engines (Neons specifically). But they have to be machine shop modified. There are a few threads on our cousin site, neons.org. If you search around there you will find a couple of people who have done it.

Here's a link that may be of some interest;

Just for future reference.
