How long should it take to install a clutch while i have the motor pulled out rebuilding it? I have a 3-4 day time period for the motor. I'm assuming i'll have time since it's a modular clutch and i just pull the stock and put in the new. I should be able to do it in a couple hours i'd think. Correct? Thanks

If you have the motor out of the car already, I would say about 45 minutes to install a modular clutch. That includes time to drink a beer during the clutch install and one afterwards with time to enjoy a cancerstick. It's really easy to do this while everything is apart. Really easy.

Well, I guess that depends. if you are doing the job as a mechanic and want to double bill somebody , well I'm guessing it's in the book for maybe 4 hours total.
But since you are doing a rebuild then the answer would be 0. You have to take the old clutch off to rebuild the engine.

Is the tranny out of the car also? If not, I suggest pulling it out and bolting it to the motor and dropping them back in together. Much much much easier that way I think.
