A guy on mitsubishi-forums.com wrote this up awhile ago, and i figured i would put it on here incase anyone might wanna try it. im thinking of doing it if anyone has any opinions.

Ok i did this one on my own. Any of us who turbo our 420a's know what a pain it is to get a decent cluch cuz were modular. Well i know FOR SURE now how to go non-modular. Its easy...

youll need to contact standard flywheel DIRECTLY ask for a 95 dodge neon DOHC stock flywheel. Anyways if you call them direct they gont require a core and its like 75-80 bucks shipped. ASK AUTO ZONE FOR THE NUMBER

Then you go to the dodge dealer and ask for the 8 mtx non modular flywheel bolts at 2.40 each

Then go to the parts store and get grade 8 bolts and locknuts for the pressure plate .79 for bolts each and .29 for a 2 pack of washers x3

Then go to autocom.com and order your duel friction clutch and pressure plate pn#df973973 for 323 shipped. If you use them directly insted of e-bay its 20 bucks cheaper.

Everything is direct bolt in and dont forget to use your throw out bearing.

That comes out to under 432 all together. The 350hp modular cluch was $500-$1300 witch is more than going non-modular. Then after time if you need another cluch its 323 shipped witch is cheaper than our stock modular cluches. Then if you pull your turbo stuff to sell the car a stock oen dodge neon clutch is under $90. Works out all the way around.

Lots of expensive parts, and still slow! Oh wait, it has to run to go fast.

Unless your going to research the correct information do not put part numbers you think they are. Thats ignorant. Dont repost bad info either.

So what will this not work or something? the part number for the clutch is correct i did not check the flywheel. if this wont work i wont waste my time but if i can save 300-400$ then this is not usless or retarted ^^
