I heard from a fellow ex-420Aer thet you could take the neon transmission apart and put the front casing inside of the eclipse 420A transmission and have a HUGE 3rd gear. He had it in his eclipse and said he rode 3rd gear all the way out to 135mph.

Does anyone know about this? I was planning on picking up a spare of both and fiddling.

More like 110. This is fairly common on high HP 2GNT's and as such, not advanced.
