#6581, "Finally..."

Well I've broken and replaced damn near every part on my eclipse. This most recent was my tranny. I fragged the Spider gears launching at Gainesville FL. Long story behind getting home involves driving a Mustang 5 hours with no brakes to get my blazer, to drive 5 hours back to get my eclipse, then 5 more hours back home all in one day. Well that was 3 months ago. I finally procured the $$ to pay a friend back for the spare tranny he bought off of me in January. I threw it back in today and she runs great again. I'm actually surprized at how good the transmission felt considering it has not been driven on in over 3 years.

On a side note I knew this was coming. I can't bare to part with the car now that she is running again. So I'm keeping her and looking for a bellhousing and a quaife so I don't kill another tranny after turboing her.

Good to hear you're back.....um, up and running.

You are going with the 3.55 when you turbo, right?

When I can afford a Quaife I'll get a used 3.55 tranny too and do it then until then I will run the 3.92 that is currently in there. I am just trying to piece together a intercooler and piping set up. I have an interesting intercooler that I am going to run. I just have to figure out how to plumb the piping to it.
