ok my i swap my 95 talon to a mtx last night but now it won't even turn the engine over, the starter solnoid dosn't click or anything. I havn't done the reverse lights or the speedo wire swaping yet, will that cause this?

Neutral safety switch will cause this. Fix it.

EclipseSix, I did my best to understand what you were mentioning about taking the black/yellow wire from the ecu and grounding it to the bracket. The black/yellow wire NO LONGER runs to the ecu but is grounded straight to the bracket is this correct? Here are some pictures I apologize if I'm jacking the post but it deals with basically the same problem the original poster is having, thanks in advance.
Here you can see where the black/yellow wire no longer runs to the ecu but is now grounded into the bracket.

It has been a while since I did my swap but I believe this information is accurate:
The black wire with yellow stripe from the 10 pin harness used for the transaxle range switch should be located in pin #5. This wire should be hooked up to a clutch pedal switch that is grounded while depressed.

I believe you are correct. Also, make sure that you connected the neutral safety switch to the clutch pedal. It's located above the clutch pedal and should be taped onto part of the wiring harness.

I thought that the black and yellow was the one that you ran to the clutch pedal.
When I did this in mine it had a reverse effect for one reason or another. Now I cannot have my clutch depressed if I want to start the car. I have to put it in neutral and then start it.

Oh man. And your car is so nicely done. Don't spoil the image of the "batmobile" by letting little things like this out of the bag!
You might just have the switch wired up backwards. Depending on how you wire it up, you might be breaking the circuit when you depress the pedal versus completing it. Just a thought, but I'm sure you've considered that before.
If anyone else asks in the meantime, just tell them you never use the clutch to start the car because you're preserving the life of the bearings during startup or something.

I thought about that as well but it doesn't make sense. If the pedal is pressed the switch allows the circuit to open and the ground to be activated. How could the switch be wired backwards? In its location I simply got frustrated and let it be. The reason I posted is to maybe make sense of why it isn't working properly.
