#6172, "SouthBend or ACT clutch"

I'm interested in upgrading my clutch now as I'm about to drop in a brand new built motor and will be going turbo in the next year. I plan to make 300-400 whp and it's a DD. So with that said:

1) does ACT have a clutch package for our cars yet? does it compare to a 2600 + street disc setup for non-modular?

2) which model of the SouthBend cluches would be my best choice for holding power and comfort of drving?

3) where can I get these? I think I visited SouthBend's website earlier and coule buy directly from them, but I didn't find an ACT website. Where is the best place to order a clutch from?

Thanks, and any advice or other options are very welcome!

I'm so sorry, I googled "ACT" by itself earlier and they are nowhere in the first 30 hits, so I quit looking.

But thanks for the think.

nevermind now. I'm giving my friend some extra money and he's throwing in his Clutchmasters Stage 4 w/ lightweight flywheel with the motor I'm buying.

imo, after a lot of researching, i discoverd that tho the cm stg 4 is sweet, its really not that great for a high hp dd..i was shooting for the same hp , but as for the cm stg 4 its alot i guess ruffer for a dd? many recomend the cm stg 3 or even better the southbend ofe, which is the route i went. imo, the cm stg 4 is sweet , but sweet for a predominatly weekend car b/c the shits and clutch pressure it takes sucks for a dd. i think i said that right.

haha thanks man. well i was looking into modular options and would have probably gone with south bend had I not found out this motor had already been converted to non-modular and had the cm stage-4 up for grabs. my non-modular top choice was the act-2600 with street disc, but I'm not going to pass up a practically brand new clutch & flywheel for the price I'm getting it for.

out of curiousity though, how will this CM stage-4 compare to the line of ACT clutches?
