i dont know which one to choose,
OFE or TZ?

power goals, no more then 350 if that.
setup: mtx 3.55 trans/quaife lsd
420a built bottom/low cr hahn s16G, fmic.. will eventually upgrade to s20g
i want to run daily 15, and occasioally 16~18/19+?
currently on sfmu setup with good size injectors and wil go with mega suqirt later.. just givin you info since power depends on boost psi and turbo cfm. so which clutch should i go with? thanxin advance.

Use the OFE. The TZ is a good clutch but a little under rated for your power goals. It feel just as smooth as the TZ on engagement.

Andy, i'm looking to get a new clutch that'll hold ~350-400wtq and won't desintegrate at the track. I've been hearing good things about the OFE. Can you email me with some info please? jsturm@gmail.com

I ordered the FE Stage 4 clutch as I plan to upgrade a few things on the Avenger and try and get some more track time in this year. Andy was a HUGE help and was AWESOME to work with. If/when I ever need another clutch, I'm going to South Bend first. And to answer your question, I was told there was a 10% discount for 2GNT members. Even if there wasn't, the price of the Stage 3 and 4 clutches are the best I've seen. I also really liked how there is a warranty on all products.

Once I get mine installed (I'll try and take some pictures for you guys) I'll keep yall posted on the performance of the clutch.

Andy, is there the usual 500 mile break-in period on your clutches, mainly this FE Stage 4 clutch?

UPDATE!!!

Clutch is in and I have to say, it feels GREAT!!! I've only got like 50 miles on it so far (maybe 100...) and I can already see it's a HUGE upgrade from my SPEC Stage 3. Holds nice, isn't heavy, has a definitive grab point and it's overall a MUCH better design! Much kudos to SouthBend for this product!

So you didn't get the OFE stage 3, but instead the stage 4? Which one exactly is it, and how much does it cost?

If I remember correctly, it's the Stage 4 (FE?) and it was ~$500 shipped. I mentioned 2GNT and we also worked out a deal, but again, this is all from memory. Best thing for you to do would be to call them up and they will work with you. GREAT folks.

On a side note, I've got about 100 miles on this thing and it gets better and better!

I'm on an OFE, but I'm looking to replace it really soon... It seems to have started slipping once I turned my boost up. emoji I've been very happy with the clutch, so I'll probably hit Andy up for another SB.

I'm currently running like 15-17psi and I haven't had a single slip yet. Granted, I"m still in the break-in process (have NOT launched the car yet...I don't wanna break axles...)but once it's fully broken in, I'm gonna up the boost to around 18 or so. Either way, it feels GREAT and holds even GREATER!
