Im changing the oil seal/gasket where the axle and the tranny meet. How do you take off the old seal? I dont want to damage anything by just pulling on it. The seal was always leaking so I figured since I'm changing the axle now would be a good time to change it. Thnaks guys!
PS BTW its the passenger side if that matters.

Hammer a screwdriver in between the old seal and the casing. Look at the new seal to see where the seal ends and the case begins. Then, pry the old seal out. To hammer it in, I use the 32MM socket that I do final drive installs with.
