#5895, "Clutch choices"

I was doing some research on clutch choices. I was going to try to post up the choices/info that I came up with. I thought it might be better to just post the links because some of this is opinion and I don't want to try to "second hand" it. I find this info very interesting.

http://forums.neons.org/viewtopic.php?t=244304

I started this by looking at the options available and just thought that there weren't many cost effective options. This is not to denigrate any of those choices that we like (i.e. South Bend) but I wanted something that was closer to OEM cost but held a little better. Plus I wanted choices of mod and non mod.

Eh, thought this might help.

This is an exerpt from another post of mine. The unit is bolted together when you get it, not rivited. So if you want to open her up, you can do so. PM me your phone number and I can call you with better details on it.

Really? That's news to the ACT guys at the East Coast shoot out at E-town. I spoke with them and they said they had nothing availble for the 420a but they were looking in to it (which is apparently what they have been saying for years), lol! Is it a modular?

And I quote (from my call to them. I spoke to Darrell) "we are working on it but we do not have an application yet" verbatim.

I could not find it on their catalog/page. But they do have the 2.4 listed. Maybe that's what you saw? The SRT-4 is not the same application.

Now that's funny shit, lol! I used their application selector and they don't list our cars. So then I called and got that same pat answer. Damn emoji

Well, there you go fellas. It appears that ACT is also in on the act (yeah, real bad pun). Though their sales people may not know it.

Thanks Chamuko,
