what cars have the manual transmission that will fit our engine. ive searched and have gotten a but load of info but im still kind confused. and yes searching is a vertue but when you have 100+ pages to look through it kinda sucks. also what parts exactly will i need to do the swap? if someone has done it please give me some feed back on it that would be awesome.

Does anyone know what the gear ratios are for those trans that will fit into our 2GNT? Or perhaps know where to locate those ratios? Or has anyone rebuilt our stock 5 speed with a different gears? - Reason I ask is because I want more accel but I don't want to lose any top end. Thanks.

There is NO way to mess with gears and not loose something to gain something. Accel VS Top speed.

If you find some way to re gear Then please share it.

The only thing you can do with our tranny is add the neon .72 5th gear which i have done. Only lowers RPM by 500 at 80MPH.
