the interesting point with this clutch is that it weight 14lbs. Now ther have been a member here and there that go to the Lightened flywheel and have issues with idle and when they press in the clutch to shift because the flywheel doesnt have enough rotating mass to keep the motor spinning enough for the ecu to control idles and rpm drop. Wonder how this will do.

Terry I had a Luk OEM style clutch and fidanza aluminum modular flywheel on my Avenger and I never noticed that problem and a few of my buddies used to drive it too and didn't mention it. I did have a pretty similar setup to what I have on my eclipse maybe the little extra power helped it. I had the V2 AEM, Bosal Header and Cat-Back, stock cat, AFX 30% UDP.

I did notice it would rev up quick and return to idle faster. It did pull pretty damn hard for the extra weight from about 3400 up to 7300. I raced a last gen civic si hatchback with an intake and muffler or exhaust I foget which in the Avenger from a redlight. I was pulling on him from the middle to top of each gear. I beat him by about 1-2 cars up to about 80 (with no traffic of course) and I had a buddy with me. We stopped at the next light he asks what I had done and I tell him, he says well I just got and intake and exhaust. Then he tells me my car was pretty fast.

Haha!

Yeah, it is a shame when I was in the accident in the avenger the tranny mount pushed trough the bell housing and hit the flywheel teeth. I had a nice hole about 2-3" in the bell housing with the mount all flattened into it.

I think the one I had was only supposed to weigh about 8.5 lbs. It was from Howell.
