The car will turn over fine but will not start after new engine put in also clutch and bearing. Also noticed that the clutch does not need to be depressed to turn over. Could this cause a problem with no firing. Doubt it but doesn't hurt to ask.

I have a 95 and unless my clutch saftey switch is broken I don't have to push the clutch in to start it but I do. Mine will start/run like normal but no clutch is needed. Once I get some extra money I was going to get a new switch and see. It was like that since I got the car, but in my Avengers I always had to push the clutch. So maybe it's just a 95 thing? What year is your car?
