allright so i recently acquired a 97 avenger w/2.0L mtx
drivetrain.. so i know the tranny is the same as the ones in
the 2g eclipse/talon and im planning on swapping the atx in
my talon with the one in that avenger(since the engine is
blown in the avenger...gonna build up that one..he he) and my
two questions are these: #1 are the shifter assemblies the
same between the two cars...cuz it seems like the one in the
avenger is a little different...so i really dunno on that one
some help plz. cuz when im done transplanting the mtx in my
car, i wanna put the atx back into the avenger and SELL SELL
SELL!!! #2 i know there is a write up somewhere on the
web on the atx to mtx swap, and i know there is one on
vfaqs.com but that isnt the one im looking for.. ive seen the
writeup before on another post on here but i cant seem to find
that post again. some help or info as to where i can find that
write up would be greatly appreciated..i dont wanna go into
the swap blind. #3... some info on aftermarket clutches would
be great while im thinking about it.. i plan on going turbo,
and i doubt a stock clutch will hold up... any brand
recomendations would be taken into consideration..
