Won't go into reverse EVER, or won't go into reverse sometimes?

What happens when you try to shift into reverse? Any noises?

wont go into reverse Ever.

When i try to shift into reverse, its as there is a "wall" preventing me from going into reverse.

The entire shifter just feels "sloppy". sorry buts thats the only way I can describe it.

i had that problem and it turned out that one of the cables got loose. just take out your batery and the platic bottom. and u should see the cables check them to see if one of them isnt loose. the cable has a pin that holds the cable in place that solved my problem

ok one of the bushings had fallen off on top of the transmission. works again now.
