#4912, "stalling problem"

I just finished putting my new motor and goodies in and I have had only one problem and its really getting annoying. I think it caused by my flywheel. I have a clutch master stage IV with the sprung 4 puck and 8 lb. flywheel. After high rpm runs if i put it into neutral or push the clutch it when the rpms drop the car stalls and i lose brakes. What would be the problem? Would it be worth a try to raise the idle a bit? I'm at a loss. Thanks.

Are you trying to say when the rpms drop the car stalls?

yup...Its only under rapid deceleration such as pushing the clutch in at a high rpm. I've been unable to figure out the problem other than I'm pretty sure it has something to do with this clutch.

8lb flywheel? Fidanza or another aftermarket? There have been reported issued with lightened flywheels causing that problem but i dont know anyone who has reported it. In otherwords it rumored to be an issue.

Yea its a Fidanza 8 lb. flywheel. Im wondering also if i have a boostleak, Ive had similar problems on other cars with boostleaks. Fixed the leaks and it fixed the stalling on the other cars. I'm going to do a pressure test tomorrow and find out. If not then Im afraid Im going to have to figure out another path to fix it. Do you guys think upping the idle would help it any? Maybe to just 950rpms?

950 rpms at idle would be fine.
