Hey! My tranny drain plug is leaking, was wondering if the oil drain plug bolt is the same as the tranny one.

Are you sure you're looking at the tranny drain plug, b/c the tranny drain plug is a rubber plug, not a bolt. Either way it's not the same as the oil pan, but you need to look at exactly were it's leaking from.

The fill plug is rubber, but the drain plug is metal.

It's not the same as the oil pan plug, though.

Ah, your right, I was thinking of the fill on the lower side, the drain is underneath.
