at what point would it be a good idea to get a new tranny. i just installed a stage 2 turbo and am curious as to how much hp the stock tranny can take before it goes to sh*t? if needed which would be the best route to take for a new tranny? rebuild? swap? i searched but couldn't find the answers i was looking for.

You will never produce too much HP's in that car to where the tranny cannot support them. Please correct me if Im wrong. You do have to worry about other things taking the tranny to the pooper, but HP's is not one.

The trans failing isn't so much HP dependant at anything less than 500wHP or so. The factory diff is the weakest link, and a stock car can kill one of those if they try.
Bulletproof it, buy a Quaife.
