like stated above. it sounds horrible and kinda embarrasing. i know its the tranny b'cuz when i step on the clutch the noise goes away. and the funy thing is, i just replaced the clutch like 5,000 miles ago. but then again its that POS centerforce dual friction clutch.

one other thing. ever since i had the clutch installed the clutch pedal feels a lot softer than opposed to when i had the stock clutch on.

thanks again guys.

Sounds like a throwout bearing issue. Then again, the back of your car is distracting me. VERY NICE looking car. Why the fuck did you risk it all with a CFDF?

I think Ducking_Fumbass is right. Ive replaced more throwout bearings than I have replaced clutches. Im working on my 3rd clutch and that stupid crumbling noise from the throwout bearing will always give you weird looks from people walking near your car as you are passing by or idling. It sounds like CRRRAPPP! When I press down the clutch pedal it goes away because you are putting pressure on the whole clutch assembly. The last one i bought was from NAPA autoparts when I replaced my burnt out tranny and I have never had problems with it again, its been about a year.

so you're saying is that i should buy a TOB from NAPA and see what happens in the next few months. or should i get it from satan regardless the ridiculous pricing for all their parts?

I have never EVER bought a single part from the dealer. Id rather go to my local salvage yard for parts if I cant find it at any of the parts stores for a decent price. From what I understand you are back to a stock clutch setup so the TOB from NAPA should more than handle it and its the one ive seen with the best quality.

I just read your thread again and realized you are working with the CFDF clutch still. Well as long as the pressure rating of the clutch is not much higher than stock you should be ok.
