#4127, "how smooth is your engine after cm stg 3 install?"

Mine is a bit rougher after the install? Im wondering if something is out of balance? It seems to smooth out after about 1500 rpm, but at idle its pretty shaky. There was one thing that did not get installed again. The rubber spacers that go on the driver side motor mount did not get put back in, but they are so skimpy that I don't think they would prevent the vibration that I'm experiencing.

If the metal mount is contacting the frame, yeah, it'll cause vibration. I've been told, though, by several people that have actually had their clutches balanced, that the Sachs flywheels ClutchMaster's uses can be somewhat off balance out of the box. Might have something to do with it, but i wouldn't worry about it much. It's a bit late now, right?

indeed its a bit late. Well that makes sense about being a bit off balance. Seems to be working great, so Im not going to worry about it.
