ok i took the tranny apart, and lo and behold it's bone dry. so my first question is since it ran dry, is there any type of lube or grease that needs to go on the bearings before it's reassembled? also, i know that i need to put aneorobic sealant on the bellhousing, but is there anything else that needs to be done before i put it back in? one more thing. i know this was a big debate, but what types of tranny fluid did everyone decide on that could be used? i know there is another thread that is on this subject, but it was never made clear what could be used. atf+4?

not really have to pre lub the bearings. i dunno if your talking about the needle bearings or not. just make sure you dont break the output shaft bearing while trying to close the halves. and run nvt-350 tranny fluid. i think its funny to run a fluid that dosent have your tranny's name on it.

yea i got it all back together and all (or all of at least til the axels were spinnin opposite ways, different post, needless to say i guess thats normal) so now all that there is to do is to put the crossmember on and the front torque mount and i can try it out. I'll post how it turned out, only took 2 hours to drop it completely out. Took about 7-8 to get it all back in, lol, i know that terrible. thanx for all of yalls help
