well...new clutch and everything is in. I am running B&M trick shift ATF till i can get fluid from satan later this week.
Now, when i go to take off...it seems like the clutch kinda jumps once...Then all is well...you can feel it in the pedal. Only when taking off. Only other issue is when its at high rpms the car shakes like a fucktard. Also, i had quite a bit of pressure on the clutch pedal before everything got replaced, now there is not much at all. It engages fine, but its almost easier to depress then the gas pedal. Wondering if these are normal symptons of a fresh clutch in its break in period, or if the mechanic fucked some shit up.
The car runs a beeeelion times better now, especially after i cleaned my Green filter out on my CAI...feels like a brand new car.

Your pedal is normal. Pedal pressure is dependant on the designer of the clutch, it does not necassarily reflect the clamping force of the pressure plate.
As for your engagement.....Hard to tell what you are describing but almost sounds liek the clutch's inability to slip (performance disk) which if thats the case is normal for some. I have a Zume stage 3 which has a MIBA material that you can feel resisting slipping as you engage it.
High RPM could be normal for that clutch but i would make sure all the mounts are tight and not ripped.

Hey Frank is that fluid you mentioned in the tranny or in the clutch system. I think I know the answer, I'm just not looking forward to hearing it....

I would say break it in and go from there. once its broken in, it is not normal. Some clutches tend to engage touchy when new. This is the first stocker i have seen do it but then again i dont go around logging break in issues either. IF you have a performance clutch i would say learn to live with it. but in your case it should pass with a little time. Since you had a shop install it i would say call the shop just to make contact about it and if it doesnt go away in 500mi then take it in. I would hate to hear something was wrong with it and the shop tell you that you waited to long to at least notify them.
