Well my tranny likes to grind alot switching from 1st into 2nd gear and i 'think' its my synchro's, but im not sure. ive read other posts where ppl had the same problem and its was their throw out bearing. not sure which mine is but its bad. i called around tranny shops around the area and they want 6-800 just to replace them. i thought it was gonna be like 300 bucks or so since i already have the tranny out of the car. was just wondering what others got charged to get their synchro's swapped out with new ones? or do you think its my TOB?

when it was my TO bearing i had ALOT of chatter even at idle (on stock clutch) and when i went to engage 1st and 2nd gear it would jerk and chatter. It never grinded my gears though. Hope that helps.

mine chattered when engaging a gear very rarely and all the time when it was in nuetral. Now mine still chatters but that's becuase it's aftermarket, so is the TOB
