I was on www.exileracing.com and came across this part. Each shaft is rated at 300hp. The Driveshaft shop axles are little pricey so I wonder if theses would be a good alternative.

From what i know the Fidanza CV shafts are a new item. But with talking to the shop guys from fidanza at SEMA that part started in house. One of the shop guys is building up a 420a neon and needed some shafts to hold the power. They came up with a couple of designs and this was the best rated for the price. Fidanza makes other great products so i personally would give the shafts a shot.

No each shaft is rated at 300hp so in total that is 600hp. Don't believe me go to www.exileracing.com and look for that product. Also they make a alumium fly for use. So how would we be able to use that fly if we have a modular clutch?

I just want to build the 96 RS for three 300whp and call it a day. Even though they are rated at 300hp for each shaft is fidanza is that reliable? For that price and being a new item for us would definately help the 420a world.

HP has nothing to do with axles breaking.
DSS axles are stronger.

Wait a minute I thought the more power the car is producing the bigger the chance of axles to break due to the stress it is reciving with when power is being tranfered. If it is not then will Fidanza axles hold for 300whp setup with ocassionaly track days and moderate launching in the streets of FLorida. Dark one you say DSS axles are stronger but which stage of the DSS axles are stronger compared to the Fidanza.
