#3659, "question about life of completely stock clutch..."

well, my question is how the hell can a stock clutch with 140,000 miles on it that gets beat on constantly, and gets launched at the track a lot keep going... *crosses fingers* my clutch is amazing, lol can anyone explain it, or maybe someone has a longer lasting clutch than me....

I think DR1665's clutch lasted almost that long, if not longer before he tore his shit down.

My girls Talon as just over 100,000 miles on it and is still on the stocky. Feels soft though, so I am not expecting it to make as many miles as yours.

Mine? Only at 66K and still strong =]

well, my clutch will be replaced very soon, when my motor comes out this month, it would be interesting to see how much material is left on the disc.

My clutch is still hanging in there at 107k. I don't beat on it though, my car is not fast.

I beat on mine constantly at the track, delivering pizza's and just practicing for the track on some old back streets also it has taken the abuse of my first manual. I really want to replace it but I see no reason to right now becuase all I have are the basic I/H/E and pulleys. So as long as it still feels strong and I can do a pretty good launch I'm keeping it. 164,000+ miles on it.

I am parting out my 95 RS!!!
