If you have seen my posts before, I am looking into getting a SPEC clutch for the eclipse. I am planning on running 12psi daily driving and 18psi at the track. Well whats my options really. Howell says to use the SPEC stage 3 as many other board members say I would completely fine with the stage 2 and not have any probs. Well, I have also seen MANY "My SPEC clutch is awesome, it doesnt slip and grabs good"'s and also many " SPEC clutches suck, I blew mine in 6 months". I dont want this to happen. I dont drive the car THAT much anyway, maybe like 3 times a week for like 2 hours a day. Should I get the SPEC clutch and trust it, is it good or is it shit? And should I go with stage 2 or stage 3?

Thanks in advance.
Maybe I can get more than 1 reply on this post!

I would say go for it. If you are going to do anything go with Stage 3. They are streetable and have good capabilities.

Taloniized has been running a Spec 3 for at least a year that I know of, and has been running strong. Again, some people have bad stories, others have good.

You will find people have good and bad luck with almost any brand out there.
