as long as you don't dump the gears out, that is an easy job. i wouldn't do anything honestly unless you were up to a challenge. Go buy a retro fit, get some safing brackets, and maybe a new speedometer gear if you feel like spendin the money. new axel seals, new bearings. you could do it all if ya wanted. but if its working fine, i'd just replace that half of the tranny. its easy to replace if u can drop the transmission.

Having Problems? Heres my Three step solution to anything 2gnt related.
Step 1: Put down everything in your hands.
Step 2: Grab a lucky strike, Smoke it.
Step 3: Walk to the fridge, double fist some keystone ice, sit down in the shade, drink one beer, finish cigarette, drink other beer, roll a joint, smoke it, walk back to your problem, and in about 5 minutes the solution will come to you.
If not. Go here: here

If still nothing, your trying to hard. Start over at step 1.

I just found out both my driver and rear motor mounts are broken. According to CAPS you can get the clutch housing which is part number:
M04761089

I have a sheared off bolt stuck in mine. I haven't tried to drill the old one out yet.

98 RS M/T - CAI w/K&N Filter - AFX udp - 2.5" Catback Exhuast - Symborski Shift Kit - Energy Suspension Inserts -
17" wheels & tires - Rear Disc Conversion - and now 1 broken motor mount!!!!

if its the rear bolt closest to the firewall, you can drill straight through to the other side.

i did this on mine. i drilled it a little larger then retapped it.
has held so far. emoji

if its the other ones, id go with ^^^^ and try and find maybe just the bell housing. then drill the mount holes through put a grade 8 inthere and seal them with locktight so you have three bolts sticking up from the tranny. then you can just put the plate on and add washers and a nut. would probably hold better than the threads in the aluminium bell.

my 2c
