I have done a bit of searching, and i only require a simple answer... but are the MTX's in the 95-99 I4 cloud cars the same as the 2gnt/asog transmission? Or are they like the neon MTX where the bellhousing is different?

Post it here for posterity.
I've never heard of an MTX cloud car.

Having Problems? Heres my Three step solution to anything 2gnt related. Step 1: Put down everything in your hands. Step 2: Grab a lucky strike, Smoke it. Step 3: Walk to the fridge, double fist some keystone ice, sit down in the shade, drink one beer, finish cigarette, drink other beer, roll a joint, smoke it, walk back to your problem, and in about 5 minutes the solution will come to you. If not. Go here: here
If still nothing, your trying to hard. Start over at step 1.

"The standard engine in all Stratus models is the same 132-horsepower 2.0-liter four-cylinder that powers the Neon twins. It's mated to a smooth five-speed manual transmission, the only Stratus engine so equipped. "
What they are describing here is a SOHC 2.0L but i read somewhere else (now i cant find the link) that the 2.4 also came with an MTX, not all years however.
For some reason i dont get a notification in my email when someone replies so i dont know when to come check for responses thus the long time since I posted on this thread.
The conclusion I came to; albeit on assumption and not fact; was that since it was an SOHC Neon engine i assume the bellhousing would need to be swapped.. I do not have access to one of these cars and i find it had to get good info about technical specs on these cars.
Im looking to do a 5 speed swap and since the NV-T350 is hard as phuck to find in canada on a 2gnt/Veng/Sebring, im looking for alternatives.

if you have a look on http://car-parts.com you will find that there are lots of Stratus/Breeze/Cirrus MTX's
Generally Car-parts.com is fairly good at cross-referencing parts where they are swappable. Like sebring and 2gnt trannies if you do a search for one it shows the other.
This is another reason for my assumption that they are not swappable...
