A578 is our tranny.

no idea on the warranty price, other than my old atx came with a free 1 yr warranty that turned to 3yr for 200 and lifetime for 3 or 400

Dont know about the price, never priced a new 5spd :dunno:
I paid $225 shipped for a 60K mile 3.55 5spd from a neons.org member

(yea, i ditched the auto emoji)

as for shipping, best way to shipped a trans privately is to buy a rubbermade containter, drill a couple holes through the lid and rim, and zip tie the top on. complete tranny mins the modular clutch weighs around 80-90lbs. Think the guy spent like $50 to ship mine via ups ground.
