spider gears came apart and blew out the bottom of the bell housing. i need to know of any replacement differential and bell housing and where i can find them. is it worth replacing or should i just get a rebuilt? let me know where i might get the part and a roundabout price. thanks

Bill thats like trying to glue together a vase you just dropped 10feet. Not to mention most of us dont have 3000. for a tig welder. MAO is all i can afford...lol MIG Arc Oxy...lol

Hey that just happened to me 2 weeks ago! And if the damn dealership would have told me that it was the spider gears making the noise instead of telling me it was a throw out bearing and clutch, I would have bought the Quaife diff for $1200 and a new clutch kit instead of buying a new tranny and clutch kit due to puking the diff through the case.
Check out this website if you want a near bullet proof diff!! It supposedly is a drop in swap but will need to check bearing preload and may need to shim...Good Luck and if you get it, let me know how it works for you!
