Just trying to get a figure on this clutch. How much boost you run on this clutch, and has it ever slipped on you...just trying to weight out my options..Let's here it!

I've had my stage IV in for 20,000+ miles. The last 4,000 or so have been at 15-17lb of boost and it hasn't slipped yet (hope I didn't jinx myself...). It's a bit pricey, but I didn't want to install a clutch every 10k or so miles. Also, I found it somewhat difficult to get used to. It all of a sudden grabs-much higher up than my stock one did. I expected a stiffer pedal but I'll bet it requires less effort than the stock clutch! And yes, I would buy it again.

I have been using one for the past few years. The wear life on them is so-so. I would say that I have replaced mine every 2 yrs or so.
At the track and on the street occasionally it will slip if you "slip" the clutch too much. It likes to grab pretty much instantly and takes some getting used to, especially if you want to drive smoothly with a lady in the car. Other than that I think its a great clutch overall if you wanna spend the money, and the pedal feel is just as soft if not softer than stock.
On a side note, if you do get one, make sure that the teeth on the pressure plate all sit even in relation to each other. Mine didnt quite and I think itmakes slight contact with my TOB and causes it to wobble, wobble, shaky, shaky and make that HORRENDOUS noise.

I have one, but it's not in the car yet . I'm waiting on my Retrofit, just like you probably are. I'm guessing that's why your looking into clutches right now. What kind of prices are you getting?

Well currently I use a custom 4 puck ceramic disk, and stock pressure plate and flywheel, all bolted together(took a modular clutch and drilled the rivits, and then bolted). It holds well, but it slips sometimes at 13 psi. Just need a better pressure plate really. I will prob end up buying just the CM pressure plate, have my 4 puck disk re-buttoned, and resurface my flywheel. Its the cheapest way out for me right now..New stage 4's complete are around 700+ bucks..Yeah, i'm also waiting on the retrofit

Well, I went with a SPEC stage 3-6 puck unit instead of the twin disk from CM. My CM 4 lasted exactly 22000 miles before it started slipping at 17 psi. Then it got worse and by 26000 miles it couldn't hold 10 psi of boost. I am somewhat disappointed with the lifespan of this clutch, but I have heard that 20-30k miles is about standard on the CM4. They are rather expensive, that's why I was looking into the twin disk, but i heard that they had some issues that still had to be worked out with our application, so I decided to screw it becasue I could not justify spending 1600 on a clutch and not know for sure if it will work. The spec has been working out pretty good so far (knock on wood). I did notice that the CM 4 is pretty grabby. its not a clutch to be slipped into gear. it likes to reach a certain point and then grab hard.

i bought armonds old cm 4 i guess it has 30k on it 15 with boost 15 with out. Not installed yet. I figure if it gets me through this season it's worth it. forgot ot put it held 400whp on armonds car
