I was driving last night and I grinded 3rd gear because I didn't stick it in all the way. Now whenever I go to gently tap it into third gear and lower RPM's it pops out of gear. It will stay in hear if I use a little force, but I use to be able to tap it into hear with my shift kit. Did I mess up my synchro's? And also what solutions are there to this problem. I am changing my tranny fluid in about 2-3 weeks.

Come on someone has to know what is going wrong. I need help because I am paraniod I will mess something up big time. Also if there are solutions where can you get parts and supplies?

well, I hate to break the bad news, but your synchro is bad. I did the same thing you did and in the same gear, and after I grinded 3rd, it would always grind everytime I would shft into 3rd. you could either take it to a tranny shop and have them repair 3rd gear, or wait for the entire tranny to go out, then reapir the whole thing. But if 3rd gear is the only problem gear, then I would go and get that repaired. Good luck!
