i've drained the fluid from the tranny but i'm looking at the plug and the washer on it... it's plastic?? is that good, it looks like i'd make it leak...

my drain plug didn't even have a washer. I'm sure it will be fine. It's like the oil drain plug which has some kind of rubber compound on it as a washer, but isn't really rubber b/c it doesn't break down from contact with oil.
