ok....doing the swap this week hopefully, got a neon trany(hehe...3.55 gear emoji) and a short throw and the clutch. this is a 95 and i need to know what i need as far as tranny computer area. what computer do i need and what do i need to make it work? i haven't seen an 'official' write up just trouble shooting stuff so i'm goin for all the help i can get guys...thanx alot.

1995 RS AT w/196,000 mile emoji
KYB AGX w/Eibach Sportline($485.0 emoji)
10.3mm OBX wires
NGK Plugs
18" Konig Elan
225/40-18 Michelin Pilot Sport
Toucan Muffler w/2.5" catback
OBX Header w/ hollowed kitty
Port/Polished Head w/ SS Valves

look in the auto section, we have mentioned it.

You will need a 95 MT since your is a 95, you can use other years but do to the differences in wirring you will have to do some big ol re wiring. So best bet is to stick with the 95.

I believe you also need a A/S/2gnt manual tranny because you have to swap the gears out of the neon tranny and put them in the other bellhousing. You will need the ECU from a same engine year you have, but manual. (95). RyaN95i4, is doing the exact same thing you want to do right now. It a 95 avenger and he is putting the neon tranny in it. He has done the research and your should talk to him. He is on asog, asec and groundfloormotorsports. Get a hold of him. I believe the 95 is the most expensive one of the bunch to do the swap in. I did it for $1000 in my 97.
