well they are small and fragile!! can anyone say for sure if its a bad thing if one breaks off, but the other is still good? any reason it cant still be used as long as there is one good one attached to the clutch fork?

All it does it keep the TOB from wobbling around on the input shaft (makes it retract w/ the clutch fork).

Both of mine are long gone. No noise. No problems. Clips are overrated.

Yeah don't worry about it. I think I bent one of mine before it went in when I dropped it. I'm clumsy. No problems yet.
