I not sure if this belongs here or not, but if not feel free to move it. Today I turned down the street I work on and when I put the car in 1st the gears ground hard. When I went to lunch the only way I can get it not to grind in 1st is to come to a complete stop. Does anybody have any ideals what could be the problem? I have already checked by clutch fluid and all the other gears work fine.

You're not supposed to shift into first when the car is moving.
Your first gear syncro is dead or dying. Live with it or buy a new trans, it is not a servicable synchronizer assembly.
