When I start in the cold weather a noise seems to come from the transmission. It stops when I put the clutch in and starts again when I let it out. After the car warms up it stops all together.
Any Ideas!

what kind of noise? I have a sound file of what mine used to do... and it isn't pretty either. e-mail me at dsmkrazy@hotmail.com if you'd like it... it's relatively small in mp3 format.

99.9% positive that its the throw-out bearing....not really a horrible thing...more of a nuicance...just change it when you get a chance

I have a sound comming from my tranny as well...it sounds like a rattle, like the bumper is comming loose...hmm

The gears also don't seem to open up all the way. It eventually feels normal after running a while.
